Professional name   Te Puna Ora Storytelling

Historical: moments in New Zealand as seen through the eyes of ordinary women. My characters are real, thoroughly researched and authentically portrayed but not famous in their own time.

Personal stories: My repertoire includes stories from the 1950s including childhood stories taken from memory. Many of my characters are also ancestors.

Sacred stories: My stories celebrate the contribution of ordinary New Zealand women of 19th and 20th centuries. They are sacred to me.

Humorous: The lives of down-to-earth women are full of humour. I have never had an audience that did not smile.

Ghost: stories that explore the unexplained and inexplicable. Myths/legends: Maori myths and legends.
