Her work has been presented on Radio New Zealand and Television New Zealand and she is the author of 80+ books for pre-school to teens. She has been a member of the NZ Book Council's Writers-in Schools scheme for a number of years and has had a long-time involvement in story sessions at schools, libraries, clubs, churches and festivals. She prefers simply to be known as "Janet" and enjoys the opportunity for presenting stories as a refreshing change from writing them (which she also enjoys!) She is open to traveling to venues and fees would be in line with current NZ Book Council Writer's-in-Schools charges. I have been engaged in storytelling at primary and pre-schools for a number of years, and can be booked to read/tell/speak at venues through the NZ Book Council's 'Writer's -in- Schools' scheme.
