Tania is a primary school teacher located in Invercargill, South Island, New Zealand. She has been a member of the Southern Storytellers since it’s inception in the early 1990’s and often tells with Dreamweaver, Liz Miller, founder of the the group and of the New Zealand Guild of Storytellers, especially in the schools programme sponsored by the ILT under the umbrella of the NZ Literacy Association. Tania is currently president of the NZ Guild of Storytellers.
Tania tells a wide range of stories, from folktales to tall tales, myths and legends, wonder tales, audience participation stories, songs, rhymes…
Tania has travelled to the largest storytelling festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee twice, to listen, wonder and learn.
